A victim of domestic violence ,Yolo Pityana took to Facebook to share her experience ,begging ladies to leave and never stay longer than the first time they are hurt..

She wrote:

Today I break the silence.
This is how i spend my christmas of 2016. In pain and hurt.
I have been beaten, and cheated on and abused for the past 2 years by my husband.
Women love does not hurt and only God will complete you.
I prayed,I forgave, i gave 2nd, 3rd and many chances for him to change. However the pain never stopped.
Ladies. Love like you never been hurt before, but most of all love yourself more, not to stay longer than the first time. Leave leave leave.
This has been the best example of my life on how God speaks and we decide to ignore that voice that says NO...
Ladies listen to the inner voice..

Should a woman actually leave after the first time? Didn't they say everyone deserves a second chance? What happened to repentance, won't they tagged a woman that leaves after the first time an impatience woman? Didn't the preachers admonish couple not to let a third party into their marriage? But he promised he won't do it again shouldn't he be taken for his words?
These πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†and many more are what goes through the mind of a woman trapped in a violent marriage.
My take on this topic is this: πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

A woman who is going to experience more beatings/abuses, can tell after the first experience. Only those who are not true to themselves would want to argue this.

To be sincere with you, a man that has the tendency to be an abuser is not difficult to identify. It smells all around him like a sweet smell. It shows in his words especially when there is an argument, his attitude shows it and the company he keeps shout it out loud.

Very few of these πŸ‘†πŸ‘†πŸ‘†kinds of people can be fix. Hence, the reason why you should speak out after the first time.
Please ditch that "don't allow a third party into your home" talk when it comes to domestic violence related issues because, many lives have been lost, many kids have been left motherless and many more have been marred because of this mindset.

Get help if you need to, see a counselor if you want to and leave if you feel so.
