Can You Hold The Line????

A story is told of a wealthy woman who one day phoned the manager of a concert hall and asked, "have you found a diamond bracelet? I lost it in your building last night". The manager replied, "no, we haven't found it, but we'll look for it all over, please hold the line, or phone back." During a quick search, the valuable diamond was found. The manager returned to the phone, but the woman was no longer on the line. She had hung up, and she never phoned back. And the expensive jewelry laid unclaimed.

Hello lovelies did you get anything from the above story? Now, many of us will want to blame the woman for not holding on or calling back. But in reality we have missed out in many life changing opportunities just because we failed to hold the line a little longer.
We all do have calls that we are waiting on for answers. We all have prayers that we are waiting on God for answers.
Never loose hope keep holding on. Keep your focus on God.Ps34:5

Do have a blessed and fulfilled day..

  4. Yes, I got that a little patience goes a longgg way. Sometimes we wonder why God takes so long to grant some of our requests but He is never late ... The good Lord is working it out, hallelujah somebody!
    Hello Gloria, how's it going?

Girl, how do you get these good people to comment? I wish I could concentrate on the writing part which I love abd someone else would do the job of hussling up commenters! Hehehe, I'm not even playing.

  5. How much longer should I wait" he asked me, and I answered: "just a little longer".

Funnily, no one actually has a clue of how much longer is a little longer... if only we knew, we wouldn't miss opportunities. The key for me is having complete confidence in God over the chances he avails to me in life.

Thanks Glo for this piece.... I am inspired.

    Cheers!

  6. "Faith in God" and " word of Wisdom" and of course, "patient" that what I've learnt.

    Job 28:12-18
12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?

13 Man knoweth not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

14 The depth saith, It is not in me: and the sea saith, It is not with me.

15 It cannot be gotten for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

  11. I find this so useful....often times, it so difficult to hold on when you don't have a specific period of time to wait.

Its only take courage and determination to wait in such kind of situation.
