Life Like A Blade Of Grade

Every morning you are handed 24 golden hours. They are one of the few things in this world that you get free of charge. Because even if you had all the money in the world, you can not buy an extra hour.
The question is, what will you do with this priceless treasure?

Some people say life has three stages : The morning (prime), afternoon (middle age), and twilight (old age), there is no guarantee however, that one would live through all these stages.
Life terminates anytime, at any stage and at any age. For some it ends even before they come forth from their mothers' womb, some in their prime, while others in their ripe old age.
Whatever time, stage, or age it ends, the truth is life is transient.
According to the psalmist, life is just like a flower or a blade of grass, blooming and flourishing this moment, and suddenly fades away without a trace the next moment.
"As for man, his days are as grass :as a flower of the field, so he flourisheth. For the wind passeth over it  and it is gone, and the place therefore shall know it no more ".(psalm103:15-16).

He came to work yesterday 4th of August 2015(as a bus driver in one of the transport coy at Iyaro plying Benin-Lagos) and was booked to transport a group of Redeemed Christian Church members obviously going for their convention. He joked with everyone one, goodbyes, safe journey was exchanged. They embarked on the journey and definitely prayed (like they always do) but just like you don't know what the next minute holds for you, few hours later there was a phone call that he had a head on collision with another vehicle killing both drivers and some passengers.
May souls of the departed Rest In Peace.

The truest lengthening of life is to live while we live, wasting no time but using every hour for the highest ends. So be it this day.. - Charles Spurgeon

Have a splendid day you all.. (please don't comment if you didn't read this to the end).

  8. May the souls of the departed rest in perfect peace. Life is vanity upon vanity. We all should live right and stop living as if we won't die someday. May God continue to keep us all
