Avocado Wonder!!

If you say avocado is one of the best fruits in the world, you may not be far from the truth.
Avocado is nutritious, tasty and above all, yummy! Oh yes, the taste is heavenly. No wonder so many people make sure they take at least one avocado daily.

The nutrients it contains are incredible. It contains fat but hey, not to worry, it is the good fat. Research has shown that avocado contains healthy mono-unsaturated fat which is certainly good for the heart and they lower the risks of heart disease and stroke.

Just like beans, avocado contains plenty fiber which is necessary for digestion. They also contains many vitamins including vitamin A, E and K.

Avocado is not just eaten as a fruit, it can also be used to make all kinds of dishes.

Try eating avocado with bread and you would certainly throw your margarine into the trash can. It is also a great compliment with rice- jollof, fried, or white. Have you tried using avocado for a dressing for your salad?  You will crave for salad at any time of the day if you try it out.

Guess what? Avocado's wonder does not stop at eating. Externally, the advantages of avocado cannot be ignored.

Ever heard of avocado moisturiser? That's right. This fruit serves as body cream and can prevent the skin from sunburn.

Avocado Salad

INGREDIENTS

*Avocado, peeled and sliced
*Onions, peeled and diced
*Tomatoes, diced

PREPARATION

*Add all the ingredients in a salad bowl and your avocado - tomato salad is ready.
*Refrigerate for a while before serving.
